| PART VI, LINE 15 | The Head of School's compensation is determined by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Trustees. To determine compensation, the committee reviews a comparative compensation report obtained from NAIS. This report provides benchmarking information regarding compensation of Heads of School from a number of peer independent schools. In addition, the full Board conducts an annual review of the Head's performance in relation to goals. The compensation committee reports its recommendations to the Executive Committee of the Board. The Committee's deliberation and decisions are documented in meeting minutes. Compensation of the Chief Financial Officer and other key administrative employees is determined by the Head of School using comparative benchmarking data from NAIS regarding compensation of comparable administrators at a number of peer independent schools. The compensation of these key administrators compared to benchmarked data is reviewed by the Finance Committee of the Board which is reflected in the minutes. |
