| Desc | Cascade Registry To address gaps in familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) diagnosis and treatment, the FH Foundation has launched a national FH patient registry, the CASCADE FH designed to collect comprehensive data on individuals with confirmed or suspected FH on a longitudinal basis. The CASCADE FH Registry will serve as a key instrument to support health service planning, increase knowledge on the disease and pool data for epidemiological, clinical and outcomes research, as well as for surveillance of therapy effectiveness. CASCADE FH stands for Cascade Screening for Awareness and Detection of FH. The name, CASCADE FH, highlights the need for systematic cascade screening of families to improve the rate of diagnosis and quality of FH care. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: See FH (Outreach) Support, Educate, Empower (SEE) FH program was established to address the shortcomings and lack of awareness in the general public and the medical community about FH inheritability and diagnosis standards. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Summit The FH Global Summit is an annual event solely dedicated to the science and treatment of FH.
