| Desc | Incorporated in 1982, Nourish Pierce County (formerly FISH Food Banks of Pierce County) is the oldest and largest food bank organization in Pierce County, with locations in Edgewood, Graham/South Hill, Lakewood, Northeast Tacoma, Northwest Tacoma, Southeast Tacoma and West Tacoma. Nourish's Mobile Food Bank visits 19 unique locations each week including schools, community centers and small businesses in areas of great poverty and/or limited access to nourishing food options.In 2019 NOURISH served over 60,344 unduplicated people in Pierce County during 443,893 food bank visits and distributed 6.3 (+) million pounds of food for a total of more than 4.0 million nourishing meals. We are a volunteer driven organization and in 2019, 1,674 volunteers donated more than 83,000 hours. | Desc |
