| FORM 990, PART III, LINE 4A | Operation BBQ Relief mobilizes teams into areas affected by a natural disaster by combining skills of competition cooks, caterers, and chefs to provide meals to those affected and the first responders of disasters in the United States. During 2019 Operating BBQ Relief deployed their volunteers and teams for a total of 61 days to 9 different natural disasters in the United States and 15 days in the Bahamas and served a total of 140,008 meals. When a disaster strikes, multiple factors are evaluated: size, destruction, people and the services affected. Once deployed, notifications go out to our volunteers and state leads and the deployment standard operating procedures are executed. Operation BBQ Relief is surrounded by an incredible group of volunteers and supporters across the nation who spring into action when disaster relief is needed. |
