THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED IN 1994 TO IDENTIFY INDIVIDUALS WITH DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS AND EXPERIENCES WHO DEMONSTRATE LEADERSHIP TALENT AND COMMUNITY COMMITMENT. THE CORPORATION PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH A GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE MAHONING VALLEY AND THE OPPORTUNITY FOR INCREASED UNDERSTANDING OF KEY COMMUNITY ISSUES. NEW MEMBERS COMPLETE A TEN-MONTH PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR PARTICIPANTS TO SHARE RELEVANT LEARNING EXPERIENCES AND TO DEVELOP EFFECTIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS.
