Part X:	Description of Uncertain Tax Positions Under FIN 48:	In June 2009, the College adopted the provisions of FASB guidance relating to uncertainty in income taxes. This guidance requires entities to assess their uncertain tax positions for the likelihood that they would be overturned upon Internal Revenue Service (IRS) examination or upon examination by state taxing authorities. In accordance with this guidance, the College has determined that it does not have any positions at May 31, 2010, that it would be unable to substantiate. Prior to implementation, disclosure requirements were governed by the guidance for contingencies. The College has filed its tax returns through May 31, 2009. The tax returns for years ended May 31, 2007, and thereafter are subject to audit by the taxing authorities.
