THE COMPENSATION COMMITTEE HAS GENERAL OVERSIGHT OF THE ORGANIZATION'S HUMAN RESOURCE PLAN. SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE YEARLY EVALUATION OF THE PRESIDENT'S COMPENSATION PLAN INCLUDING ALL BENEFITS. SALARY SURVEY INFORMATION IS USED TO BENCHMARK COMPENSATION FOR THE POSITION UTILIZING INFORMATION FROM AMERICAN SOCIETY OF ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVES, AND OTHER AVAILABLE INFORMATION SOURCES SUCH AS COMPARABLE ORGANIZATION FORM 990S. THE COMMITTEE MEETS INDEPENDENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE ORGANIZATION TO DISCUSS PERFORMANCE AS EVALUATED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND ITS IMPACT ON THE COMPENSATION PLAN RELATIVE TO ANNUAL BENCHMARK AND ESTABLISHED OBJECTIVES. THE COMPENSATION COMMITTEE PRESENTS ITS FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS, IN AN EXECUTIVE SESSION WITHOUT THE PRESIDENT PRESENT, TO THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WILL THEN SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH THE FULL BOARD TO INFORM THEM OF THE COMMITTEE'S DECISION. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND/OR THE BOARD CHAIR WILL THEN MEET WITH THE PRESIDENT TO DISCUSS AND DOCUMENT STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, AND GOALS FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR.
