| Explanation | The board OF DIRECTORS' chairPERSON evaluates the president OF THE UNIVERSITY annually. Evaluation criteria are the presidential priorities THAT ARE SET EACH YEAR. THE CRITERIA ARE REVIEWED AND THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE COMPILED. THERE ARE evaluationS DONE by faculty and staff of the president. The Yaffe Executive Compensation survey is also taken into account. Then the board chairPERSON discusses THE evaluation with the executive committee of the board and THE COMMITTEE MAKES a recommendation about the president's salary. The full board votes on the final compensation package ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. Compensation for the vice presidents is determined by the UNIVERSITY president. EACH VICE PRESIDENT doES a self evaluation and are evaluated by their supervisees annually. THIS INFORMATION IS USED BY THE PRESIDENT WHEN HE MAKES COMPENSATION DECISIONS.
