| Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c | All Joinder employees who wish to hold outside employment or engage in consulting work in a human services related field or other field related to the employees current position requires prior approval by the Human Services Director. Those employees approved to engage in outside employment/consulting work are expected to pro-actively monitor their duties to identify actual or potential conflicts of interest. The employee will agree to make a prompt and full disclosure of facts relating to any actual or potential conflict of interest to the Human Services Director.Upon receipt of such disclosure, the Human Services Director, in consultation with the Joinders Solicitor, shall determine whether they deem the conflict of interest to be present, and at the Human Services Directors request, the employee will take appropriate action to resolve the conflict. This policy is meant to protect the Joinder from liability and conflict of interest matters. A form entitled Notification of Outside Employment is located in the forms drawers at the Information Centers and will be required to be completed upon initial employment with the Joinder or upon acceptance of another outside human services related position during employment with the Joinder. |
