| Description | PROJECT 82 KENYA HOSTED 4 MISSION/VISION TRIPS IN KENYA DURING 2011. TWO OF THESE TRIPS WERE VISION TRIPS FOR PASTORS AND ONE FOR OUR NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. TWO OF THE TRIPS WERE SPECIFIC MISSION TRIPS WITH TEAMS WHO SERVED IN COMMUNITIES ALONGSIDE OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY PARTNER. WE LAUNCHED THE SATURDAY PROGRAM IN JULY, 2011 WHICH PROVIDES BIBLE STUDY, LIFE SKILL TRAINING AND TUTORING FOR 160 CHILDREN FROM THE COMMUNITY. THIS PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES WEEKLY FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS FOR 50 FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY, SEMI-ANNUAL HEALTH EXAMS AND SCHOOL FEES FOR THE PARTICIPATING 160 CHILDREN. OUR JUNE TEAM CONDUCTED VBS TYPE PROGRAMMING FOR THE CHILDREN AND DONATED MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS TO SUPPORT OUR MUSIC PROGRAM. | Description |

THIS INCLUDES PROVIDING FOOD, WATER, SHELTER AND HEALTHCARE FOR THE 45 ORPHANS LIVING IN THIS ORPHANAGE. WE ALSO PROVIDE THE SCHOOL FEES FOR APPROXIMATELY 38 SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN, WHICH INCLUDES UNIFORMS, BOOKS, AND TUITION AND TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES. OUR DECEMBER MISSION TEAM BUILT THREE SWING SETS ON SITE FOR THE CHILDREN AND CONDUCTED VBS TYPE PROGRAMS.
