| Explanation | DURING THE YEAR ENDED AUGUST 31, 2010, THE FUND ADOPTED THE PROVISIONS OF "ACCOUNTING FOR UNCERTAINTY IN INCOME TAXES" WHICH PRESCRIBES A RECOGNITION THRESHOLD AND A MEASUREMENT ATTRIBUTE FOR THE FINANCIAL STATEMENT RECOGNITION AND MEASUREMENT OF TAX POSITIONS TAKEN OR EXPECTED TO BE TAKEN IN A TAX RETURN. FOR THOSE BENEFITS TO BE RECOGNIZED, A TAX POSITION MUST BE MORE-LIKELY-THAN-NOT TO BE SUSTAINED UPON EXAMINATION BY TAXING AUTHORITIES. THE FUND ADMINISTRATOR HAS ANALYZED TAX POSITIONS TAKEN BY THE FUND, AND HAS CONCLUDED THAT AS OF AUGUST 31, 2011, THERE ARE NO UNCERTAIN POSITIONS TAKEN OR EXPECTED TO BE TAKEN THAT WOULD REQUIRE RECOGNITION OF A LIABILITY (OR ASSET) OR DISCLOSURE IN THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS.
