THIS INCLUDES BOTH HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS GOING TO ATTEND GOLDEN WEST COLLEGE (GWC) AND GWC STUDENTS TRANSFERRING TO FOUR-YEAR ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS.SINCE ITS BEGINNING IN 1999, THE FOUNDATION'S SUCCESSFUL "WISH LIST" PROGRAM HAS BEEN SUPPORTING BOTH FACULTY AND STAFF. THE FUNDS ARE DEDICATED TO EQUIP CLASSROOM AND CAMPUS PROGRAMS TO BETTER SERVE OUR STUDENTS.IT HAS BEEN FIVE YEARS SINCE THE FOUNDATION BOARD CREATED THE "STAR" (STUDENT TEXTBOOK ACCESS RESERVE) BOOK PROGRAM. WORKING WITH THE GWC CAMPUS BOOKSTORE AND GWC LIBRARY, THE FOUNDATION PURCHASES MUCH NEEDED TEXTBOOKS FOR THE STUDENTS.
