SUPPORTED THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DETROIT REGIONAL AEROTROPOLIS. BLM IS A FOUNDING SUPPORTER OF EFFORTS TO DEVELOP THE LAND SURROUNDING DETROIT METRO AND WILLOW RUN AIRPORTS INTO A GLOBAL LOGISTICS HUB WITH RELATED DEVELOPMENT. THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN WORKING WITH NINE GOVERNMENTAL UNITS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS ON THIS EFFORT. THE GOAL IS TO GROW JOBS IN SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN AND INDEPENDENT STUDIES PROJECT A POTENTIAL 64,000 JOBS AND $10 BILLION IN INVESTMENT OVER THE LONG TERM.3.) POSITIONED THE REGION TO IMPROVE ITS PERCEPTION BY CONTINUING TO SUPPORT THE DETROIT REGIONAL NEWS HUB, A MEDIA RELATIONS PROGRAM THAT WILL MANAGE A REGIONAL COMMUNICATION STRATEGY TO PROMOTE THE REGION'S ASSETS LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY.4.) CREATIVE CORRIDOR - HELP GROW THE CREATIVE ECONOMY AND CREATIVE JOBS IN DETROIT. PROVIDE FUNDING SUPPORT TO THE DETROIT CORRIDOR CENTER, WHICH WILL: - PROVIDE RESOURCES, NETWORKS AND SPACE FOR CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURS AND PRACTITIONERS - PROVIDE A GATHERING PLACE FOR CREATIVE WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS - PARTNER WITH EXISTING BUSINESS ENTITIES TO PROVIDE SERVICES AND SUPPORT BUSINESS ATTRACTION AND RETENTION EFFORTS - HELP RAISE THE IMAGE OF DETROIT AS A GLOBAL CENTER OF CREATIVE INNOVATION5.)
