| Explanation | In June 2006, the FASB issued Financial Interpretation 48, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes (FASB Accounting Standard Codification (ASC) 740, Income Taxes) which clarifies the accounting uncertainty in income taxes recognized in an organizations financial statements in accordance with SFAS No. 109, Accounting for Income Taxes (SFAS 109"). ASC 740 provides that a tax benefit from an uncertain tax position may be recognized when it is more likely than not that the position will be sustained upon examination, including resolutions of any related appeals or litigation processes, based on technicalmerits. Income tax positions must be a more likely-than-not recognitionthreshold at the effective date to be recognized upon the adoption of ASC 740 and in subsequent periods. This interpretation also provides guidance on measurement, derecognition, classification, interest and penalties, accounting in interim periods, disclosure and transition. The Foundation adopted ASC 740 for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010. The adoption of ASC 740 had no impact on the Foundations financial position or results of operations.
