(NSLP) has been recognized as a tax-exempt organization by the internal revenue service as described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code (the code) and is exempt from federal income tax on related income pursuant to section 501(a) of the code. Nslp applies the provisions of asc subtopic 740-10, income taxes - overall. This standard provides specific guidance on how to address uncertainty in accounting for income tax assets and liabilities, prescribing recognition thresholds and measurement attributes. At September 30, 2011 and 2010, there were no uncertain tax positions. Accordingly, no provision for income taxes has been included in the accompanying financial statements.
