| Description | In the four Educational Programs offered at St. Gabriel Mercy Center 428 persons were enrolled and 5611 individual encounters occurred during the year.1) Three students achieved their GED certificate while 16 others improved their knowledge and continue working toward a certificate. Most of these students were Special Education Students in high school thus have struggled a long time.2) In the Computer Learning Lab 342 unduplicated persons worked on computers for 4350 hours learning how to use the computer, applying for jobs, taking on-line college courses, completing school projects, and checking e-mail. Classes were offered in Basic Computer (26 class participant days) and Intermediate Computer (53 class participant days).3) The Summer Youth Program was held in July 2011 and June 2012 influencing 100 youth. 4) Sewing Classes enrolled nine students with four seamstresses teaching them. The Delta Boutique is where the hand-made garments are sold; a commission was given to the sewer for her items that were sold. | Description |

| Description | In the two Health Programs 187 persons were enrolled which entailed 4526 encounters. 1) Senior Outreach Participants enjoyed daily a healthy lunch (2380 meals), socialization through games and crafts, 17 speakers and 24 field trips. A total of 15,821 miles were traveled transporting seniors to and from home and on field trips.2) Parents of children from birth to three years old learned how to be their child's first and best teacher. Sixty-nine parents and 88 children were enrolled, 1884 encounters occurred, 1582 items of assistance were given to families. Monthly educational group meetings were held for parents. | Description | In the Social Service Program (Emergency Assistance Program) 422 persons were interviewed, 95 were financially assisted (43 of these were assisted for the first time) and 5464 family members received service. Ninety-three clients were referred to other agencies or programs for assistance while 82 clients were referred to our program for assistance. St. Gabriel Mercy Center's partnership with MS Food Network provided food for 5528 clients. St. Gabriel Closet (thrift store) was open 250 days this year.
