THIRST NO MORE HAS PROVIDED DISASTER ASSISTANCE IN HAITI, BUT CEASE OPERATIONS THERE IN EARLY 2013. WE ENDED OUR MAJOR OPERATIONS IN HAITI WITH THE BUILDING OF A CHURCH. WE RECEIVED OUR DRILLING RIG OUT OF CUSTOMS IN 2013 AND IMMEDIATELY BAGAN DRILLING OPERATIONS IN TANZANIA. OVER THE COURSE OF THE YEAR, WE WERE ABLE TO DRILL JUST OVER 20 NEW WELLS AND MAKE A FEW REPAIRS ON EXISTING PUMPS. WE ESTIMATE THAT WE WERE ABLE TO SERVE OVER 60,000 PEOPLE WITH FRESH WATER. THE ORGANIZATION FUNDS THE CARE OF 20 ORPHANS AND MANY OTHER MARGINALIZED CHILDREN IN SOUTH ASIA. THIRST NO MORE LED AND PARTICIPATED IN CHURCH ACTIVITIES IN SEVRAL COUNTRIES. BURMA - TNM CONTINUED ITS SUPPORT FOR AN ORPHANAGE. MOORE, OK - HELPED LEAD RELIEF EFFORTS FROM THE AFTERMATH OF A DEVASTATING TORNADO. | Desc |
