After the end of this open enrollment period, enhancements and upgrades were applied to the technological infrastructure of the organization, as well as the Customer Service Center. A Shared Eligibility System was implemented enabling a single online application to determine if a person qualifies for Medicaid or Child Health Plan Plus coverage, or qualifies for a tax credit to lower the cost of private insurance through Connect for Health Colorado. Connect for Health Colorado continued to develop strategies to achieve sustainability after federalSee continuation on Schedule O grant funds expire.The Colorado Health Benefit Exchange grew in staffing from 39, reported on the 2013 W-3, to 66, reported on the 2014 W-3. | Explanation | Grants for the assistance network require proposals, including objectives, for the grant period. The Assistance Network Manager or Team Member reviews monthly reports from grantees and monitors work toward agreed upon objectives. Expenses are reviewed by the Grant Accounting Coordinator and submitted for payment when proper receipts are included. A monthly drawdown report is produced to provide for ongoing monitoring of all grants.
