| Desc | Plan, build, promote and maintain the Bay Area Ridge Trail. When complete, the Ridge Trail will extend 550 miles and connect over 75 parks and open space preserves in the 9-county Bay Area. At the end of 2016, 370 miles were dedicated. Trail dedications in 2016 totaled 4.5 miles, including: Milagra Ridge, Pacifica and Daly City streets, and Vargas Plateau Regional Park. In 2016, the Council hosted trail events all around the region, including Ridge to Bridge in Marin and San Francisco, a 5-day East Bay Hills Thru Hike and Ride, and the REI - Ridge Trail Service Day. Over 950 people hiked, biked, and rode with Ridge Trail outings leaders in 2016, and 800 volunteers provided about 2,750 hours of service on trail care and supported outings and events. | Desc |

After the review and analysis by a subcommittee of the Board a salary range was identified for the job posting. There was no change for ten years. In March 2016 the Executive Committee approved and documented a $5000 bonus which was to be included in the annual salary beginning in January 2017. |
