Website links allow access to products and services used by scientists and engineers. Approximately, 14,000 books were shipped in 2017. SPIE is also the publisher of 10 technical journals: Optical Engineering, Journal of Biomedical Optics, Journal of Micro/Nano Lithography, MEMS and MOEMS, Journal of Nanophotonics, Journal of Applied Remote Sensing, Journal of Photonics for Energy, Journal of Astronomy Telescopes, Journal of Medical Imaging, Journal of Neurophotonics and SPIE Reviews. SPIE is also a Co-publisher of Journal of Electronic Imaging with Society for Imaging Science and Technology. SPIE also presented 172 short courses and issued 1263 Continuing Education Credits (CEU's) and supported 87 visiting lecture talks. SPIE also distributes educational videos each year.
