| Desc | Santa Fe Dreamers Project provides free legal services to immigrants to promote economic empowerment, community development, family unity, and liberation from detention. This year we served 15 counties in New Mexico, hosted 65 outreach events, 60 DACA Legal Clinics and 10 Rural Legal Clinics. We processed: 438 D.A.C.A. Cases, 35 Green Card and Family based petitions, 60 U-Visa & Violence against women cases, 60 Special Immigration Juveniles, 140 Political Asylum cases and were able to help release 140 people from Prison. We also provided legal orientation for 1,000 detainees. We were also able to hire 3 new attorneys to our practice and hire and train 6 students in immigration law. | Desc |
