Westside Rally to Prevent Gun Violence: We hosted a large rally against gun violence with student leaders in the western suburbs of Minneapolis in October 2018. Voter Registration Project: We registered 5,000 Minnesotans to vote in the 2018 election through non-partisan education and outreach efforts. Greater Minnesota Outreach: We gave out over 3,000 trigger locks to hunters and gun owners in greater Minnesota along with gun safety and suicide prevention information. Safe Communities Partnership: We expanded this program dramatically by opening a second office in North Minneapolis and hiring a Director of Partnerships for Safe Communities. |
