| Facts And Circumstances Test | Current Year Facts and Circumstances: (The CREEED Foundation is a conduit for grants that are awarded to CREEED Corps operations and programs, so it is dependent on Grants awarded and received. Generally, these are Foundations or other Corporate Grantors which require the recipient to be a 501 c 3, which CREEED Foundation is. At the present, CREEED Foundation is the disburser of funds pledged and paid for the IDEA Public Schools expansion in the El Paso market. This pledge commitment process is into its 5 th year and is slated to be completed within a total of eight to nine years.CREEED Foundation is also the disburser of funds awarded by the Walton Family Foundation in support of the Parent and Community Engagement initiative sponsored by CREEED (EIN 46-3444371). This funding is completed and is expected to be depleted in accord with the Grant by the July 2022.In 2022, CREEED Foundation was awarded a $100,000 grant from the Trellis Foundation to support the local ISDs in developing more students to be college ready under the outcomes based funding for CCMR (College, Career and Military Readiness) acceleration by public high schools, under HB-3, which was approved by the legislature two sessions ago. There remain too many larger urban based school districts across the State as well as in El Paso, which are not taking advantage of the program at its fullest extent. The ISDs have a real potential to secure additional state funding for their programs and systems, but If they do not step it up to where they are reaching 40 -60% of eligible students, there is real possibility that the State may not continue to make this funding available. As a result, CREEED has become engaged with this process to assist the local school districts to rapidly increase the number of qualified students to fall into the CCMR goals.In short, the funding for CREEED Foundation will be dependent on grants awarded in support of CREEED Corp programs geared to expand the number of high quality seats/schools in the public school systems that will aid in graduating a larger percentage of high school seniors, effectively post secondary (college) ready. Meaning that they will be able to matriculate and complete a post secondary degree or advanced certification program within 4-5 years, (depending on the fulfillment timetable for the program), without the need for remediation in an in demand career, discipline, or profession. | FactsAndCircumstancesTestTxt |
