Explanation	IEEE-ISTO has received a determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service concluding that it is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. IEEE-ISTO, in accordance with accounting standards regarding uncertainty in income taxes, has evaluated uncertain tax positions and has determined that it has no uncertain tax positions. Furthermore, IEEE-ISTO had no unrecognized tax benefits at December 31, 2023 and 2022.
