Description	Machik Corp (or Machik) founded the award winning Ruth Walter Chungba Primary School in the rural community of Chungba on the eastern edge of the Tibetan plateau. The school provides free education and boarding for over 645 rural boarding children in both primary and middle school. The children's parents are almost all subsistence farmers and nomads who are mostly illiterate. These children will be the first literate generation in the history of the community. Since the school first opened in 2002, these rural children have been the top performers in the county in Tibetan. Graduates of the primary school are placing first in both Tibetan and Chinese language standardized testing. Machik also continues to support programs in non-teaching staff support, teacher support and support for the middle school graduates to attend high school in other counties.	Description

Description	Mother's Wish-Machik was founded on a core commitment to promoting women's education, capacity building and empowerment. One of our overarching program priorities has been the development of projects that help level the structural inequalities facing Tibetan women today. Machik founded and continues to support the Mother's Wish Foundation and together we have helped support over 2000 and Tibetan women and girls' education. Description	Summer Enrichment Program SEP-Machik facilitated the 7th annual Summer Enrichment Program that provided a unique and effective summer program for 75 Tibetan rural children from across the Tibetan plateau to learn English, Tibetan, music, art, health, social business, theater, math, science and so on.
