Description	Harnessing the power of donated goods to sustain and grow the impact of our social enterprise, Goodwill Industries of San Francisco, San Mateo & Marin utilized over 640,000 donations last year to provide jobs, job training, and services to people with barriers to employment. Our Value Recovery Enterprise includes 18 retail stores, a rapidly growing e-commerce business, and environmental businesses that generate over 80% of the funding for Goodwill's programs, services, and operations. Last year, we were able to serve 827 employees and provide career services to thousands of participants and community members.	Description

Description	People Services provide a spectrum of intensive and broad-based services to address the many challenges facing those with barriers to employment - from job readiness to training, on-the-job learning, and job sustainability. Last year, our Goodwill placed our participants in 586 jobs and transitional employment opportunities. In addition, we provided education, job training, and employment services to over 7,191 people in our 3-county region, and 37,000 visits were made to our One Stop Career Centers. Other services address the needs of specific at-risk populations, including: RAMP, an intensive 6-week program for at-risk young adults that provide supportive services and training to help remove obstacles to education and employment; and Back On Track, a partnership with the San Francisco District Attorney, which offers 161 non-violent, first-time drug offenders the opportunity to start clean and maintain stable careers and lives. Our Goodwill also offers digital literacy and computer technology training programs which provide critical skills training, technology access, and new career development opportunities to participants.
