| Description | In 2012, PSA continued its Congressional Partnership Program sessions, hosting 2 classes - one in the spring and one in the fall. Each of these sessions provided congressional staffers with off-the-record discussions with prominent current and former government officials, negotiation training, and networking activities. PSA also began a new congressional briefing series in partnership with the United States Institute of Peace, holding off-the-record small group discussions on Capitol Hill focused on conflict resolution and prevention. Over the course of the year, PSA developed a bipartisan policy statement on the national security implications of climate change impacts abroad. PSA also planned 2013 launch activities for the statement. At the beginning of 2012, PSA held two educational off-the-record dinners for Members of Congress featuring prominent government officials discussing current national security issues under consideration by the US government. | Description |
