Each of these sessions provided congressional staffers with off-the-record discussions with prominent current and former government officials, negotiation training, and networking activities. PSA also began a new congressional briefing series in partnership with the United States Institute of Peace, holding off-the-record small group discussions on Capitol Hill focused on conflict resolution and prevention. Over the course of the year, PSA developed a bipartisan policy statement on the national security implications of climate change impacts abroad. PSA also planned 2013 launch activities for the statement.
