Description	Cooperative education and outreach:CCCD is a resource for proficient information about cooperatives. Educational materials and information are available on our website with down-loadable publications about many fundamental co-ops such as cooperative housing, child care, worker-owned businesses, farmer, consumer food, artisan, and business co-ops. Education and outreach is also delivered through our annual print newsletter, email news services, conferences and events. During 2012 CCCDs website logged 26,234 unique visitors. A training program for agricultural cooperative directors included 74 participants, and CCCDs co-op leadership conference had over 128 attendees. CCCD staff provided many trainings to groups and participated in conferences organized by other organizations. CCCD's annual newsletter was distributed to more than 800.	Description

Description	Co-op Formation Assistance:CCCD is a resource for people interested in exploring non-traditional business models and those interested in starting a cooperative. During 2012, CCCD assisted more than 190 groups and businesses with co-op information. That led to the incorporation of new cooperatives, the creation of new jobs and saving jobs, both directly and indirectly. CCCD is one of only few cooperative development Centers dedicated to using the cooperative model to fuel economic development in distressed communities. Such projects particularly reach out to immigrant in under-served communities. Projects in Lompoc and in Richmond use the worker cooperative model to create jobs. Other projects that reach out to under-served communities focus on promoting housing cooperatives as a mechanism for creating home ownership opportunities.	Description
