For the purpose of maximizing the availability of quality programming for at-risk young children in Tulsa County, UCAP agrees to allow Community Action Project of Tulsa County, Inc. (CAP Tulsa) to serve 16 children who qualify for the services from the UCAP service area and UCAP agrees to reimburse CAP Tulsa for services provided to these 16 children while both parties acknowledge that the 16 slots served by CAP Tulsa at the Sand Springs facilities will remain a part of UCAP's EHS funded enrollment. In addition, we provide care as demand is needed for children enrolled in our program for an hour before school starts and until 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. after school. We do this to enable our parents to work or go to school beyond the school hours. We also offer this to parents that are in our career advance, adult learning, and other programs to assist them with completing the programs. We offer snacks, pay teacher wages, pay for activity supplies and necessities for the additional hours. During these hours, we are still required to have two teachers in the classroom and we have planned educational activities including play and art.
