DescTHE AD COUNCIL, ON BEHALF OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, CREATES PUBLIC SERVICE ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS WITH THE HELP OF VOLUNTEER ADVERTISING, MEDIA, DIGITAL AND SOCIAL AGENCIES (WHO DONATE THEIR CREATIVE TALENTS AND ENERGY), THE MEDIA (WHO CONTRIBUTE SPACE AND TIME) AND DONORS (WHO PROVIDE CRUCIAL OPERATING SUPPORT). COLLECTIVELY, THEY MAKE THE AD COUNCIL'S GOOD WORKS POSSIBLE. IN FY17, THE CAMPAIGNS THE AD COUNCIL PRODUCED RECEIVED $1.49 BILLION IN DONATED MEDIA SUPPORT ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS INCLUDING DIGITAL MEDIA, MOBILE, TV, RADIO, PRINT, AND OUT-OF-HOME. WHILE DONATED MEDIA IS ESSENTIAL TO THE SUCCESS OF THE CAMPAIGNS, WE ULTIMATELY STRIVE TO CHANGE BEHAVIORS AND SAVE LIVES. WE CONTINUALLY SEEK WAYS TO INNOVATE AND ENHANCE THE IMPACT OF OUR CAMPAIGNS AND THIS YEAR WAS NO DIFFERENT. WE SECURED NEW CREATIVE, DIGITAL, MOBILE AND MEDIA PARTNERS TO DEEPEN ENGAGEMENT AND DRIVE BEHAVIORAL SHIFTS AMONG ALL OF OUR TARGET AUDIENCES.Specifically, we:-Kicked off the development of five new fully integrated campaigns (Teen Suicide Prevention, Lung Cancer Screening, Breast Cancer Risk Education, STEM for Girls, LGBT Acceptance) with respected nonprofit partners including the American Lung Association, Susan G. Komen, Jed Foundation and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.Desc

Part I, Line 1aThe ad council provided an annual membership to a health club in the amount of $900 for Lisa Sherman and Barbara Leshinsky.
Part I, Line 3Approximately every two to four years, the Ad Council hires an independent consulting firm to conduct a comprehensive compensation study. The study is conducted to assess the external competitiveness of the Ad Council's current total pay, develop comparable market base salary and total pay summary statistics and audit and recommend changes to the Ad Council's employee incentive plan. The most recent study was performed in august 2014. The information gathered from these studies is used to help inform the decision-making process of the Compensation Committee. The Compensation Committee is comprised of the Chair of the Board, the two Vice Chairs and the head of the Finance Committee. The committee meets at least annually to review and establish the total compensation package (base salary and incentive goals) for the President and CEO and Executive Vice Presidents. The committee also reviews and approves the total incentive payout for the entire organization. This entire process is contemporaneously documented in meeting minutes. Fiscal year 2016 compensation review was performed on September 18, 2015. fiscal year 2017 review was performed on september 8, 2016. Other key employees are addressed in the compensation study and this comparative data is used as a part of the process where the CEO, CFO, HR and department heads review and approve the compensation package for each employee annually. During the 2017 calendar year, the Ad Council engaged with a new consulting firm to redesign the total compensation strategy and structure for the organization. Additionally, the firm completed a competitive marketplace analysis across all jobs at the Ad Council. The study was completed timely for Fiscal Year 2018 planning and the compensation review by the Compensation Committee was performed on October 16, 2017.
