FOR THE PERIOD MARCH-FYE 2020, THE CLUBS PRIMARILY PROVIDED EMERGENCY CHILD CARE SERVICES.Question 1.1: Over the 12 month period of Fiscal-Year 19/20 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County served 1,537 youth and Teens from the communities most disadvantaged neighborhoods. Of those members 487 attended daily during the school-year and 493 participated each day during the months of our summer program. Question 1.2: While serving large numbers of kids each day it is important that for the Club to have a significant impact on those who need us most, that they spend multiple hours each visit engaged in the high-quality programs and activities we offer. We call this measure of impact Duration of Stay and during Fiscal-Year 19/20 our members spent a total of 253,700 hours in our four Clubhouses and Teen Program.Question 1.3: Daily food service has become an integral part of the Club experience with our Clubhouses offering every member the opportunity to have as many as three hearty and healthy meals each day. During Fiscal-Year 19/20 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County provided a total of 73,147 meals and snacks at no additional cost to our members. |
| PLANS TO IMPROVE CASH RESERVES | ORGANIZATION SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION TOSTATEMENT OF FINANCIAL POSITIONThe Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County continues its efforts to improve the amount of cash on hand. It is the goal of the Clubs Board of Directors to continue to diversify and expand our resource development efforts and maximize the utilization of our expenses in an effort to increase our cash reserves to have a minimum of 3 months cash on hand. To accomplish this we have implemented a multi-pronged strategy, which includes:-implementing $690 annual membership fee for families who can afford to pay,-increase the number of donors investing in our annual campaign, and -increase the corpus of our Endowment Foundation, which distributes to the Club each year. |
