THE HUME INITIATIVE BRINGS TOGETHER AI RESEARCHERS, ETHICISTS, SOCIAL SCIENTISTS, AND LEGAL SCHOLARS TO STEER THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMPATHIC AI. ITS GOAL IS TO ESTABLISH GUIDELINES AND BEST PRACTICES FOR THE USE OF AI THAT UNDERSTANDS CUES OF OUR EMOTIONS.
