It is the first SH-EAHP workshop in 22 years to focus on the hematopathologic disorders of this patient population. A major emphasis of the Workshop was to highlight advances in our understanding of the molecular pathogenesis, particularly as they relate to the diagnosis, prognostication and clinical treatment of these disorders and the post-therapy detection of measurable residual disease using flow cytometric and next-generation sequencing-based molecular approaches.
