ACAT HAS A SOLID TRACK RECORD OF BASE-BUILDING, ORGANIZING, AND ADVOCATING FOR SOCIAL AND POLICY CHANGE ON LOCAL, STATEWIDE, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS. WE HAVE CONSIDERABLE EXPERIENCE ORGANIZING INDIGENOUS PEOPLES, AS WELL AS STRONG TIES TO OTHER NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS AND TRIBES. ACAT'S MISSION IS TO ASSURE JUSTICE BY ADVOCATING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND COMMUNITY HEALTH. WE BELIEVE EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO CLEAN AIR, CLEAN WATER, AND TOXIC-FREE FOOD.
