| Explanation | Due to staffing changes the 2008 and 2009 return information was prepared by the Director, Finance with input from Human Resources, Registrar and other departmental staff. Information provided to Ernst & Young, LLP for return preparation will be provided to the Board Chair and the Chief Operating Officer in advance of the completed return. Once the completed return is reviewed by the Director, Finance it will then be provided to the Chief Operating Officer and Board Chair for signature. The return will be provided to all Trustees either simultaneous to or immediately subsequent to filing. Initial compilation of information for the 2010 and future returns will be completed by Finance department staff with review by Director, Finance and subsequent review by the Chief Operating Officer prior to transmission to accounting firm for return preparation. Upon receipt of completed return and review by Director, Finance the return will be provided to the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and to all Trustees for review prior to filing. Process for Determining Compensation From 990, Part VI, Question 15A & 15B The Trustees fees are set by action of the board of the william rockhill nelson trust, per the original trust document. The fees have remained the same for over 10 years.
