Description	In Western Kenya Solar Cookers International continued the work in spreading solar cooking education and products to homes. In Kadibo, Solar Cookers International worked with the USEPA and Practical Action to complete a two year project focused on integrated cooking, promoting a selection of fuel efficient and clean cook stoves for use. 2,547 households were reached. In the Kisumu and Kakamega area, both in Western Kenya, 275 Cookits and other solar cookers were sold as Solar Cookers International staff educated community groups, government offices and other Non-Governmental Organizations to utilize solar cooking. The objective of these on-the-ground programs is to educated people via community groups in which they are involved as well as individually, about the effectiveness of solar cooking, and empower them to purchase an appropriate cooker. The goal was widespread throughout a vast area which made it more difficult to meet the needs of all living within it. Solar Cookers International is currently working to reorder the approach for teaching about and distributing solar cookers, and will remain focused in the area of Kisumu, Kenya.	Description
