| Description | In tax year 2009, Employment Source served 458 people with disabilities of which 337 were direct employees of the company. Employment Source has operations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Kentucky.Employment Source provides supported and affirmative employment through contracts under the Federal AbilityOne Program as well as commercial and local government contracts. Surrounded by Pope Air Force Base, Fort Bragg Army Post and a large Veterans Administration Medical Center, Employment Source has a number of operations connected to the military. Employment Source currently has service contracts in the mail management industry, food service operations, administrative support, logistics, and light manufacturing and assembly. At Fort Bragg, Employment Source provides vehicle registration services, grounds maintenance services, food service, mail management operations and an administrative contract to operate the base's Soldier Welcome Center where employees process in-coming soldiers. Employment Source holds an AbilityOne base-wide food services contract at Fort Bragg, employming more than 100 individuals with disabilities. In addition, Employment Source provides extensive administrative services at the Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center in Fayetteville, as well as food service operations at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Base. Other operations include, but are not limited to, facility maintenance at the Naval Warfare Center, and administrative and switchboard services at the VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Employment Source also provides a full range of product manufacturing and light assembly work at its employment center, where employees package automotive parts for Dayco Products, Inc. and manufacture numerous products in the wood and metal shops including military footlockers, storage sheds, architectural chairs and Humvee motor vehicle jacks. Employment Source also provides a full-range of rehabilitation services including supported employment, community employment programs, adult developmental and vocational programs and affordable housing services. Employment Source is currently the only center-based and only work adjustment provider of rehabilitation services in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Additionally, Employment Sources is a Ticket-to-Work provider and one of only two Employment Network agencies in the county. Through its housing program, Employment Source offers 40 fully renovated and accessible units located throughout three condominium complexes in Cumberland County. Employment Source is part of the ServiceSource Network, which is comprised of five affiliate offices, including ServiceSource in Alexandria, Virginia; Central Fairfax Services in Springfield, Virginia; Employment Source in Fayetteville, North Carolina; OCI in Wilmington, Delaware; abilities of Florida in Clearwater, Florida. From Florida to Pennsylvania and west to Colorado, the ServiceSource Network collectively employs nearly 1,600 people with disabilities and provides employment and other support services more than 11,000 individuals. Opportunity Center, Inc: OCI's endowment represents Board designated net assets, the income from which is expended to support OCI's operations. Certain investments are subject to the designation of the Board of Directors requiring that the endowed principal and investment income be invested in a separate investment portfolio.
