Description of Uncertain Tax Positions Under FIN 48:	Part X:	CASA Latina is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3). In addition, the Organization qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) and has been classified as an organization that is a public charity under Section 509(a)(1). The Organization's income tax filings are subject to examination by various taxing authorities. The Organization's open examination periods are 2007 through 2010. Management has reviewed the Organization's tax positions and has determined there were no uncertain tax positions at December 31, 2010.

	The Board uses the United Way Survey and determines the median income for the different positions as reported in that survey (based on size of organization, budget and purpose).
