| Description | THE WISCONSIN LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION PLACED INTERNS IN 37 COUNTIES THROUGH THE CONSERVATION ON THE LAND INTERNSHIP PROGRAM; HOSTED LAND CONSERVATION COMMITTEE TRAINING AT ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE; UPDATED THE SOCWISCONSIN.ORG WEBSITE; AND COMPLETED THREE STANDARDS, CONTINUED REVISING TWO STANDARDS AND THEIR COMPANION DOCUMENTS, BEGAN REVISING ANOTHER STANDARD, AND UPDATED THE TWO-YEAR WORK PLAN FOR THE STANDARDS OVERSIGHT COUNCIL PROGRAM. THE ASSOCIATION'S EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR LED A COALITION OF ORGANIZATIONS IN EFFORTS TO PERSUADE THE STATE LEGISLATURE TO ENACT STRICTER REGULATIONS FOR THE LAND SPREADING OF ORGANIC WASTES IN VULNERABLE LANDSCAPES.
