| Activity Or Mission Description | Lee Mental Health's mission is to provide mental health advocacy and quality services for our community. The Center has been Lee County's community behavioral health care provider for more than 40 years. Its primary exempt purpose is to assess mental health and substance abuse needs of Lee County and to plan, develop and implement quality recovery services promoting mental health wellness and substance abuse recovery. The center, a private not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors, provides children and adult behavioral health services, crisis services, and substance abuse recovery services for children and families. Lee Mental Health provides services in several locations in Lee County and serves more than 8,100 individuals each year. In addition, outreach or transition services are offered throughout the county.
