| Description | The Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) consists of six 6-bed treatment units for latency and early adolescent age youth who suffer from serious emotional, psychological and behavioral problems. This program provides a highly structured, therapeutic environment designed to both address and meet the individualized needs of each resident. Each resident has an individualized treatment plan designed by a team of licensed or certified professionals. Individual, group and family therapy are provided in combination with 24-hour psychiatric nursing care, psychological testing, special education services, recreation therapy and milieu therapy. All Services are provided under the direction of a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist that is available for consultation 24 hours per day.
