Description	In 2010 the Children's Alliance worked to keep children at the center of the budget debate - ensuring continued health care for thousands of kids, meals at school and during the summer for hungry kids, expanded early learning opportunities, and continued work on racial equity. Preserving Apple Health for Kids in Washington State was a priority in the effort to "Cover All Kids," ensuring all children had access to health care. Childrens Alliance assured that 100,000 more children had access to health care, including 15,000 who lost private coverage due to the recession.	Description

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c	Conflict of Interest policy was adopted by the Board of Directors in September 2009. Individuals are expected to report receipt of personal benefit in excess of $50. The policy covers all staff and all board members. Conflicts are reviewed by the Executive Director and Board President, respectively, for each of these groups. Disclosure statements are re-signed annually.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15	Compensation for Executive Director and other management personnel is reviewed by the Finance & Operations committee during the annual budget development cycle. Specific documentation of salary review has not historically been documented in minutes. It is now practice to document this review in minutes of this committee. Compensation reviews have not included external comparability reviews in recent years; a review was last undertaken in 2004.
