| Explanation | Procedures for in country food aid and out of country food aid are the same as follows: 1. FMSC Pre-screens the requesting distribution partner before approval is given to receive FMSC product. Extensive correspondence over the type of feeding programs (school, church, village outreach, etc) and methods of distribution (served cooked, given out uncooked, etc), is completed as a part of this pre-screening process. 2. Approved Distribution Partners submit "project forms" prior to sending a container of food to a new feeding program, explaining the location of distribution, demographics, method of distribution, other outreach involved, etc. 3. All Distribution Partners are required to send FMSC a Receipt of Shipment that the container arrived as scheduled, as well as submit feedback to FMSC in the form of pictures, stories, and/or reports about the impact of the food once the distribution is underway. FMSC annually assesses Distribution Partner's performance. 4. | PROCEDURES FOR MONITORING THE USE OF GRANT FUNDS IN THE UNITED STATES | SCHEDULE I, PART I, LINE 2 | Procedures for in country food aid and out of country food aid are the same as follows: 1. FMSC Pre-screens the requesting distribution partner before approval is given to receive FMSC product. Extensive correspondence over the type of feeding programs (school, church, village outreach, etc) and methods of distribution (served cooked, given out uncooked, etc), is completed as a part of this pre-screening process. 2. Approved Distribution Partners submit "project forms" prior to sending a container of food to a new feeding program, explaining the location of distribution, demographics, method of distribution, other outreach involved, etc. 3. All Distribution Partners are required to send FMSC a Receipt of Shipment that the container arrived as scheduled, as well as submit feedback to FMSC in the form of pictures, stories, and/or reports about the impact of the food once the distribution is underway. FMSC annually assesses Distribution Partner's performance. 4. If food is sent to a domestic warehouse prior to being shipped internationally, all the above applies just the same; these practices are still in place in-country. |
