| Description | Education - Through IDEA's student sponsorship program, 353 impoverished deaf children were funded to be able to attend Special Education Classes in the Philippines this past year. IDEA also funded teacher training-in-service trainings as well as funded the purchase of school materials and equipment for classes. In addition, the indigent deaf children were provided food and lodging while attending school.
