Description	Lausanne III: Cape Town 2010 CongressBrought together over 4,000 Evangelical Christian leaders from over 200 countries to Cape Town, South Africa in October 2010 to confront the critical issues of our time - other world faiths, poverty, HIV/AIDS, and persecution, among others-as they relate to the future of the Church and world evangelization. God-willing this will be a catalytic event in the life of the church - drawing leaders together in purposeful prayer, humble repentance, strategic dialogue and decisive action. Together we sought the Lord as we examined the world and our culture to discern where the church should invest its efforts and energies to most effectively respond to Christs call to take the gospel into all the world and make disciples of all nations . . . lives changed for all eternity, broken families mended, physical and emotional hurts healed, and communities transformed.The expenses and income were paid and received in 2011 in settlement of the final payables and receivables of the Congress.
