| Description | IN 2012 KIRABO SEEDS OPENED A CHILDREN'S HOME IN KAMPALA UGANDA. THE PRESIDENT AND VICE-PRESIDENT HIRED A STAFF OF SIX PEOPLE TO SERVE THE FIRST 15 CHILDREN IN THE HOME. FIVE ACRES OF LAND WERE PURCHASED TO DO AGRICULTURAL PROJECTS. ONE OF THE STAFF LIVES THERE AND WORKS THE LAND TO GROW FOOD. THE PRESIDENT AND VICE-PRESIDENT RENTED A HOUSE EARLY IN THE YEAR AND MOVED TO A BETTER ONE BY THE END OF THE YEAR. ALL OF THE CHILDREN AND TWO OF THE STAFF LIVE IN THE HOME. THE HOME PROVIDES TOTAL CARE FOR THE CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN ORPHANED FROM HIV/AIDS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES GRANTS TO PAY THE CHILDREN'S SCHOOL FEES, ALL THEIR MEDICAL AND DENTAL NEEDS, CLOTHING, AND FOOD. A VAN WAS PURCHASED TO TRANSPORT THE CHILDREN TO SCHOOL AND CHURCH. THE PRESIDENT TRAVELS TO UGANDA EVERY 3-4 MONTHS TO HELP THE STAFF AND GUIDE THE MINISTRY. WITHOUT THE ORGANIZATION'S HELP THE CHILDREN WOULD BE ON THE STREETS WITHOUT FOOD, CLOTHING OR EDUCATION. THE ORANIZATION ALSO HOSTED A MISSIONS TEAM FROM THE UNITED STATES WHO DID PROJECTS WITH THE CHILDREN AS WELL AS SERVICE PROJECTS IN THE VILLAGES WHERE THE CHILDREN ARE FROM. | Description |
