Description	Solar Cookers International continued the work of spreading solar thermal cooking technology in East Africa. Beneficiaries were carefully selected to receive solar cooker training and other fuel-efficient cooking technologies. First priority was given to elderly grandparents raising orphaned children, widows, and widowers. In Western Kenya, 4,783 household benefited from receiving solar cookers, improved cookstoves, retained-heat cookers, water pasteurization indicators (WAPIs), and Safe Water Jars in which to store pasteurized water. Additionally, solar cooker training and manufacturing sessions were held in the Nairobi region.	Description
