In addition, the Organization qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) and has been classified as an organization that is a public charity under Section 509(a)(1). The Organization's income tax filings are subject to examination by various taxing authorities. Casa Latina's open examination periods are 2009 and thereafter.
