Description	Mastermedia is a Christian ministry to media executives, primarily in the film and television industry.In following its objectives of contacting the top 1,000 media leaders, Mastermedia set up appointments during the year with various executives in this category to offer assistance in understanding the Christian marketplace, prayer, evangelism, discipleship, Bible studies, fellowship, and encouragement in their decision making role as an executive in their respective companies.In addition, there were quarterly mailings of "The Mediator" and "The Median" newsletters, as well as four issues of the "Media Leader Prayer Calendar", circulated free of charge.In past years, Mastermedia International, Inc. sponsored the National Media Prayer Breakfast in alliance with the Hollywood Prayer Network.Mastermedia also produced thousands of written and electronic communications, along with several published materials designed to encourage and inform a large group of individuals to help bring about change from the heart. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11	Form 990 is prepared by an independent CPA firm and reveiwed by the organization's top managment. The reviewed From 990 is then provided to the board of directors for review prior to filing with the IRS.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c	The Organization monitors conflicts of interest by requiring that officers and directors of the Organization disclose any related party transactions. The board of directors shall consider data on how the transaction compares with other similar arm's length transactions or look at comparability data. Where the transaction being considered is a compensation arrangement, comparability data is information about the amount that would ordinarily be paid for similar services by similar organizations. In cases where the transaction is a transfer of property, comparability data is information about the property's fair market value such as a current independent appraisal. The board of directors who are involved in the decision making process are chosen based on the fact that they are independent and have no involvement with any related party transactions.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15	In the past the process for determining compensation for all employees, including the CEO, involved a matrix of job classification, job experience, tenure, whether they raised individual staff support, and geographic location. The independent salary committee would review the information mentioned above to approve the compensation packages, noting their decision in the board minutes. This process has not taken place since 2008 as a result of a salary freeze.
